About the school

The School of Visionary Arts is a sanctuary for mystical creatives and visionaries who are ready to strengthen their creative power and hone their spiritual gifts. Here, art becomes a sacred offering, and creativity is practised as a living dialogue with the animate world.

Sacred RelationshipĀ

At the heart of the school is a living practice of sacred creativity — rooted in reverence, imagination, and deep relationship with the natural and unseen world.

Through storytelling, ritual, ceremony, and creative process, students are guided into a more intimate conversation with Earth, the unseen and their own inner knowing.

This is where the work begins: not as technique, but as relationship.

Becoming the Conduit

As this relationship deepens, something begins to shift. We move from creating about something to becoming a conduit through which something deeper can move through.

This work supports those who feel called to bring through wisdom, truth, and beauty - not as performance, but as live transmission. In doing so, we can offer our unique gifts to the world.

Over time, we remember ourselves as vessels for vision, story, and expression to take form through us.

Held in Practice

Each programme and gathering takes place within a held, structured space of study, ceremony, and creative exploration with like-minded creatives.

This is a community where accountability, consistency, and shared commitment support creative unfolding over time.

We recognise that creative growth is deepened through connection, and that being witnessed by others on a similar path is essential to inspiration and embodiment.

Nothing is rushed. The work is given time to land, integrate, and become embodied.

Our Values

Partnership

We recognise an animate, interconnected earth and enter into reciprocal relationship with the more-than-human world. Our work is grounded in respect, care, and right relationship.

Intention

Our work is rooted in intention. Our intention guides our expression and what we receive. The school creates intentionally.

Inspiration

Following the true inspiration that lights us up is essential for this work in both what we offer and what we encourage our students to follow.

Quality

In all of our work we endeavor to offer the highest quality of service, offerings and communication to support all our students who move through our programs.

About our Founder

Samantha Rose is a visionary artist, sacred storyteller, and founder of The School of Visionary Arts. She has been on a Vision Quest path for over a decade and is a Vision Quest Protector, devoted to deep listening, ceremony, and guiding others to walk their true purpose.

She has always experienced the world through heightened sensitivity, which she later came to understand as a form of intelligence - a capacity to perceive what others could not.

Her connection with the Earth deepened in her early twenties through time spent at culture and lore camps with Aboriginal Australians, opening a path of reverence and relationship with the unseen.

In 2019, she moved from Australia to the UK to study with master mythologist Martin Shaw, deepening her devotion to myth, ritual, and sacred storytelling. Since then, she has created ceremonial spaces weaving together story, seasonal practice, and creative expression, including Sacred Storytelling Ceremonies in Devon and Folk & Fire in London.

She is now based in the UK and continues her work in relationship with the animate world.
